Think globally, act locally! Inspired by a group of local and national scholars, artists and activists, Project 2050 youth present a dazzling performance exploring and exposing issues of environmental injustice and global survival through video, spoken word, breakdancing, step, beatboxing and powerful poetics. Reception and Poetry Slam to follow performance

Cape Cod Lounge
A Meet-and-Greet Reception in the Cape Cod Lounge of the adjecent student union, where we'll celebrate Project 2050's achievements, meet the young perofrmers and find out more about the project exciting programs. Ticket fees are as notes and any additional donations will benefit the Lee Hammonds Memorial Fund, which supports youth participation in Project 2050 programs.


Poetry Slam

Cape Cod Lounge
A Poetry Slam feauting project 2050 poets, followed by an Open Mic open to all community youth also in the Cape Cod Lounge. If you've never been to a slam, here's your chance to experience this exciting performance-poetry competition!
For the entire evening $15 general, $8 low-income and seniors, and $5 students with valid ID. (Admission to slam is $3 at the door.)
