The Solos and Duos Series will begin with a duet performance by two of the most accomplished double-bass players working today. Mark Helias has been involved with innovative music making since beginning his career in the mid seventies. Mark Dresser, a virtuoso contrabass player, has performed and recorded with many of the luminaries of 'new' jazz composition and improvisation.
