Trumpeter and composer Frank London is one of the most important musicians of the New Jewish Renaissance. A member of the Klezmatics and Hasidic New Wave, London has performed with John Zorn, LL Cool J, Mel Torme, Lester Bowie, LaMonte Young, They Might Be Giants, David Byrne, Jane Siberry, Mark Ribot, and Gal Costa, and is featured on over 200 cds. His Hazonos project features the sparkling rhythm section of Anthony Coleman, David Chevan and Gerald Cleaver, and Chazzan Jacob Mendelson, whose soaring voice gives a unique spiritual quality to the music.
