| Used as an adjective, the word stilted connotes a sense of artificial formality, which has a relation to Slomba's use of architectural and figurative imagery. In his architectural works Slomba combines disparate materials and overlapping, disjointed imagery, which suggest processes of preservation and/or erosion acting upon a structure. Jeff slomba is an MFA graduate from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Free Admission | |
