Since their formation in Oslo in 1997 Trio Mediaeval has released three recordings, performed to critical acclaim throughout Europe and has toured the United States appearing at such prestigious venues as Carnegie Hall, Brooklyn Academy of Music, and the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. These three vibrant sopranos specialize in a diverse repertoire that juxtaposes early medieval music from England and France with new works composed for the ensemble, along with traditional Norwegian ballads and songs
