 The World of Nature in a Japanese Garden: Toward a Bowl of Tea

 Talk by Professor Annaliese Bischoff, Department of Landscape Architecture & Regional Planning. University of Massachusetts, Amherst. From the arrival at the gate to a Japanese tea garden the visitor begins a compressed journey unfolding through the space of the garden in preparation for a bowl of tea. Learn more about the design of nature as part of the beauty and ritual of the Japanese tea ceremony.
