 Raga: Indian and Japanese style by Tim Hoffman Presentation and talk Presentation and talk by musicologist Tim Hoffman who specializes in classical and light classical vocal music of India. He also holds the title of “Sangeet Acharya” in India. A trained Japanese musician living in Tokyo, Hoffman’s passion for music has led him to initiate the propagation and flowering of the Indo–Japanese arts worldwide. Free and open to all. Presented in partnership with the Amherst College Department of Music.
