Want to indulge yourself in a semester- long exploration of personal power and leadership with other multicultural/multilingual women of color, and earn credit in the process?

Think about participating in WOCLN's Leadership Training.

These 12 workshops are led by community artists/activists, UMass faculty and staff. The workshops vary from year-to-year but; they always deal with aspects of self-identity, self-expression, self-awareness and self-care.

Orientation Connecting to the Cycles of the Moon
Maskmaking: Uncovering Your Identity Voice and Self-Expression
Demystifying the Academy Home Away From Home
Writing From The Belly (2 sessions) The Journey to the Self
Presenting Self Creating Internal Balance
Community Service Event Graduation Banquet and Performances

At the end of 12 weeks, you will become a member of a unique cohort of women who know you like no other, and you will be an integral part of the Network. The whole experience culminates in a graduation celebration with family and friends.

Registration and interviews are conducted in the Fall. The Training takes place in the Spring. Contact WOCLN or stop by if you want more information.

*Eligible students can earn 1-3 credits through the Women's Studies Department.
