Founded in 1995, the Women's Rights Network (WRN) is an international human rights organization that seeks to address the root causes of intimate partner abuse in U.S. communities through the application of human rights principles, strategies and laws. At the same time, WRN aims to build and sustain a global network of those working to end intimate partner abuse. To achieve WRN's mission, we use a strategic combination of human rights trainings, human rights fact-finding, community organizing, public education, international information exchange, and referrals and support for battered women and their advocates.
WRN operates different programs:
- Battered Mothers'Testimony Project. A human rights Report on Child Custody & Domestic Violence in Massachusetts.
- Human Rights Trainings on Intimate Partner Abuse.
- International Documentation & Resource Center.
