NSL collects and preserves songs about people's lives, hopes, and struggles. The research staff help people use these songs in their work. A sample of topics in song: women's issues, labor, lesbians, peace, anti-nuke, liberation struggles in other countries. NSL songs are on tape, records, in periodicals, song books, and lead sheets.
