DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: The Western Mass Funding Resource Center is a free services offering orientation in the use of its library for non-profit agencies and grassroots organizations seeking ways to raise funds. The library offers free access to: -a reference collection of directories - technical assistance publications - journals on philanthropy and other information on fundraising and grantmaking. Proposal-writing and grass-roots fundraising workshops are offered for the current fee of $65. he workshops cover topic such as: -finding funders using computer databases and the internet -program development -fundamentals of proposal writing -advanced proposal writing -budgeting for program managers -raising money from individuals -diversifying funding sources website: www.diospringfield/wmfrc.html Recommended that you call in advance to schedule your visit and to reserve access to the library's computers.
