The Western Mass Electric Co. Assistance Plan is a program of the Massachusetts Good Neighbor Fund, which provides Massachusetts families in need with energy and heating bill assistance. The program is specially designed for individuals or families who temporarily can not meet a month's energy expense, yet do not qualify for state or federal energy assistance. Applications are needed, and can be found at local Salvation Army retailers or by calling the above numbers.
