Access to health care is a major problem in our area as well as across the country. Healthy Connections is a free and confidential service assisting residents of the nine North Quabbin towns to access medical care an stay healthy. Staff help enroll the uninsured and underinsured wherever possible in various health insurance options and then move on to helping them stay connected to the medical system by selecting a primary care provider, removing barriers to care (such as language and transportation), and becoming educated users of the health care system.
