Financial benefits for trades persons, brides, nurses, and widows who live in eligible local communities: Northampton, Hadley, Amherst, Hatfield, Williamsburg, Easthampton, Whately, Deerfield, and Greenfield. * Brides Gift: $100 * Trades Persons: $600 basic gift plus an additional gifts determined annually averaging $1300. * Nurses: $600 basic gift upon graduation plus an additional gift determined annually averaging $1300. * Widows: Annual benefit of $300 for first child under 18, plus an additional $100 for each additional child under 18.
