DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: The Jeanne Humphrey Block Award Program offers 1 dissertation grant of up to 2500 each for those women doing their doctoral research on the development of sex differences or some other developmental issue of particular concern to girls or women. The focus of the student's research should fall along the interest of the Murray Research Center which focuses on the changing life experiences of american women. The Center Collects national social science information on women and girls and they may add yours to their archives. Their application deadline is April 1, of the current year. The center also offers other programs please call the center for more information.
