DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: This program provides academic courses and support services for students whose native language is not English. the academic program offers language instruction in three areas:
---Speaking and Listening, Reading and Writing
These courses are designed to help students develop the skills to pursue a college career and/or enter the job market.
Students who seek to learn English skills for vocational rather than academic purposes are also welcome in this program. Students in the ESL Support Program may earn up to fifteen credits some of which can be applied to many degree programs at the college. Students who are enrolled in the higher levels of the program may also enroll in courses in their major when appropriate.
Support services include academic and career counseling, career exploration seminars, professional tutoring, and computer assisted and language lab learning program.
