WCGD offers support groups, emergency shelter for battered women and children, information workshops, abuse prevention workshops for students and children of all levels, educational programs for community groups, in-service training for police, medical personnel and others who assist victims of battering and sexual assault, two hotlines staffed 24 hours/7 days, short term counseling, information and referrals, advocacy and assistance, CT Pro Se (Do Your Own) Divorce Manuals.
