-The Mediation and Training Collaborative provides mediation services-and work to resolve disputes outside the formal legal system and to arrive at a settlement of the issues that satisfies all parties concerned. In addition, this agency provides workshops and training in dispute resolution and violence prevention.
-Has a grant from the Mass. Bar Foundation to offer low cost custody, divorce and post divorce mediation services to all kinds of couples in Franklin County.
-Sliding-fee scale: from free, to $15-$100/hour, depending on income.
-Free half hour consultations are available by request. These provide an opportunity to meet with the case coordinator, hear more details about the mediation process and ask questions.
-Mediation for family conflicts between children and parents, neighbors, tenants, landlords, organizations, workplace disputes, divorce,separations (for traditional and non-traditional couples), consumer/merchant, small claims, criminal misdemeanor mediations..
-Facilitatation for meetings-for municipalities, organizations
-Training for schools and staff on student conflicts and resolution, bias awareness and prejudice reduction
-Trains mediators in a wide variety of applications, conflict resolutions and negotiating skills.
