IIB is a Human Service agency which provides comprehensive services to refugees and immigrants. Services include: English language instruction; job counseling; resettlement services for new arrivals; Social Service counseling; legal assistance for immigration issues only; assistance to victims of crimes including domestic violence, sexual assault, racially motivated crimes, assault and other crimes for refugee and immigrant victims. Can train volunteers to teach ESL.
*Their legal department provides representation in deportation proceedings, asylum, visa processing, advice and referrals. Conducts community education and training. Serves Boston INS district; all nationalities.
