Program/Service Notes:
The Women's Center strives to provide programs and resources that will increase the awareness of gender issues within the Suffolk community. The staff coordinates a series of annual events to promote student and staff interactions outside the classroom. In the past, the Women's Center has hosted performances and exhibits such as, "The Clothesline Project," "The Yellow Dress," and "Love Makes A Family." Annual events include a Fall Reception, a Learning Lunch series, Women's "Herstory" Month and the Spring Recognition Dinner. All students are welcome to attend Women's Center events and to utilize the resources housed therein.
