The Therapeutic Equestrian Center, Inc. (T.E.C.) is a private non-profit agency dedicated to providing physical, learning and recreation therapy for special needs children and adults. Based on individualized plans, T.E.C. staff members give horseback riding lessons created to enhance one's physical, emotional and social well being. T.E.C. Services: -Individualized program plans -Early childhood classes -Competitive opportunities -Small classes -Games on horseback -Adult riding therapy Volunteer Opportunities: Without its dedicated staff of volunteers, T.E.C. would not be able to provide its services. Volunteers are always needed to act as side and lead walkers in the riding ring, to help keep the horses and tack in good repair, to help with mailings, with fund raising events, and to help with building and grounds maintenance.
