-The Mass Justice Project is a not for profit legal services program for the low-income communities of Worcester Counties and of Western Massachusetts. We provide initial intake, advice or brief service for all income-eligible callers in our service area who seek legal assistance, referring eligible clients to other legal services programs and the private bar Pro-bono and provide more extensive representation as resources permit. -Advice, brief service, referrals, and limited representation. Accessible by public transportation. Accessible to physically disabled clients. Legal Areas Covered: -Domestic Relations, including: Contested/Uncontested Divorce, Modification, Pro-Se Divorce, Child Custody: Heterosexual?GLBT, Domestic Violence: Restraining Order 209-A -Welfare & Social Service: Aid to Families with Dependent Children, Food Stamps, Unemployment Appeals, Social Security Appeals -Civil, including: Landlord/Tenant, Debtor Problems, Bankruptcy, Credit & Consumer Rights -Civil Rights/Discrimination, including: Disability Rights, Housing Rights, Employment Rights No Criminal Cases.
