DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: **Website: www.7-52.com/wboa.htm** The Women Business Owners Alliance of the Pioneer Valley address the interests and supports the needs of women business owners through monthly meetings, loint participation in community events and outreach, a directory of members, monthly newsletter and the encouragement of smal interest groups within the organization The WBOA provides its members with the opportunity to network with others with similiar interests and goals. Members gain encouragement, eduation, and information on goods and services needed for their businesses to prosper and succeed. Our meetings are usually breakfast or early morning meetings held on the third thursday of each month. Membership in the WBOA is open to any woman who owns and manages her own business, be it a partnership, Corporation, Sub-Chapter Corporation, or Sole Proprietorship. Membership is also open to a woman who is: -a self-employed distributor or representative of a company not solely owned by herself -the highest ranking manager in a not-for-profit organization -conducting her own business on a part-time basis -supportive of the objectives of the WBOA; and/or intending to become a woman-owned business in the future
