Services are free to all UMass Amherst students who have paid the Student Activities Trust Fund Fee or the Graduate Senate Tax or the Stockbridge Activities Fee
Fees:
None, Students who have not paid their Student Activities Fee or their Graduate Senate Tax must pay a small fee for advice.

Advice, council, referral and community legal education for UMass students.
Consumer, insurance, housing, debt collection, civil rights, labor issues, students having problems with state or federal agencies.
SLSC will also make referrals to attorneys who are sympathetic to the needs of students.
Offers education covering a wide range of issues. These may take the form of radio and television appearances, brochures, information sessions, group presentations or lectures.
