The Asian American Resource Workshop is a non-profit, social justice organization that educates and mobilizes members of the Asian American community on important issues. We train and support young community leaders. We collaborate with other Asian American groups on immigrant rights issues. We offer anti-racist education workshops from an Asian-American perspective. We sponsor the Boston Asian American Film Festival and other events promoting Asian American artists, performers and authors. We publish the Massachusetts Asian Pacific American Director, listing over 300 community organizations and other groups. AARW members receive a monthly calendar of events in the Asian American community, a quarterly newsletter, plus discounts on special events and books.
