Arts Extension Services develops the arts in communities and develops the community through the arts with continuing professional education for art managers, artists and civic leaders.
They respond to the management needs of arts organizations, artists in business, and artists and organizations in transition.
They provide information services, consulting services, seminars, workshops, and effective and self-sufficient community base.
AES is a national Arts Service Organization founded in 1973 as a program of the Division of Continuing Education at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
