Program/Service Notes:
Valley Women's Martial Arts, Inc., a non-profit, tax exempt school and community organization founded in 1977, holds a variety of programs at our Easthampton location and throughout the surrounding communities. We offer introductory and ongoing instruction in self defense and martial arts to women and girls of any physical/mental ability, race, creed, ethnicity, socio-economic background, sexual orientation, and body size, regardless of ability to pay. (Fees for all programs are on a sliding scale basis.) Experienced black belts and advanced student teachers conduct classes, workshops, and special events for women, men, and children at schools, social service agencies, community centers, and other organizations. These programs focus on safety strategies, empowerment skills, violence prevention, and positive actions for change and transformation.
