Program/Service Notes:
The Gray House, Inc., is a small neighborhood center on Sheldon Street in the North End of Springfield. Our mission is to encourage our neighbors in transition to achieve a more stable, safe, productive, and spiritually satisfying life through education and community service. PROGRAMS: -Food Pantry: Designed to serve as a source of emergency food for those in need. -Thrift Store: The thrift store provides low cost clothing and some household goods for adults and children. -Community Educational Support Program: offer assistance to those in beginning and intermediate reading and writing, advanced math, GED tutoring and all levels of English as a Second Language. -Kid's Club: after-school and summer program serving children ages 7-11. Offer low and no-cost academic, cultural and recreational programming to kids in a safe and supervised enviornment. Activities include arts and crafts, board and computer games, homework help, and athletic activities.
