The Neari Training Center provides state-of-the-art professional development training in areas of behavior management, staff development, organizational development and special education. Training for professionals throughout New England offered by NEARI staff and nationally recognized trainers. Ten-day certification training to professional working with sexually abusive children our youth.
NEARI is a private, non-profit 766 school serving 55 students in special education day and after-school settings. The agency provides educational and treatment services to emotionally disturbed adolescents. The agency also provides training workshops, seminars and consulting services to social service and special expertise programs for emotionally disturbed adolescents:
-sexual abuse victims
-those with a history of fire setting
-alcohol and drug involved youth whose primary diagnosis is emotional disturbance
-intervention/ physical and therapeutic holds.
Neary has 4 programs: the Day School, the Training Center, the Neari Press and the Jump-start Program.
