Program/Service Notes:
The Neary Day School is a Massachusetts licensed special education day school for severely emotionally disturbed children and youth between the ages of 10 and 22. NEARI is a private, non-profit 766 school serving 55 students in special education day and after-school settings. The agency provides educational and treatment services to emotionally disturbed adolescents. The agency also provides training workshops, seminars and consulting services to social service and special expertise programs for emotionally disturbed adolescents: -sexual abuse victims -those with a history of fire setting -alcohol and drug involved youth whose primary diagnosis is emotional disturbance -intervention/ physical and therapeutic holds
