Program/Service Notes:
For 14-22 year old pregnant women, mothers and fathers. Helps young families to grow and develop in positive ways. Working with other community agencies and individuals. The hope is for healthy outcomes for mother and child, and to offer education about pregnancy prevention. Offers supportive counseling, advocacy for medical, education, employment, child care, nutrition, legal assistance, economic aid, referrals, GED/basic education classes in Spanish and English. SCHOOL FOR PREGNANT & PARENTING TEENS IN HAMPDEN COUNTY - academics leading to a GED - life & job skills training - job counseling & placements - Higher education placements DAY CARE SERVICES FOR INFANTS & TODDLERS OF SAFE PARTICIPANTS OUTREACH - home visiting program for first-time parents - youth peer leader training and outreach
