Program/Service Notes:
The ADP Worker Center is based on the recognition that everyone in our community has a shared fate and a common interest in securing living wage work with dignity and justice. We focus on whole communities: Worker to Worker and Family to Family. Together, we are: * Organizing to improve wages and standards at work * Educating each other on worker rights * Promoting civic engagement * Providing access to education, including computers, language, and adult basic education * Offering financial services for the un-banked * Operating a legal clinic and going to bat with workers who’ve been exploited by employers and are seeking back wages or fair pay * Pushing just public policy reform We place a premium on developing leaders and ensuring that all members’ voices are heard.
