Life partners Dr. Shelley Janiczek Woodson and Dr. Brett-Genny Janiczek Beemyn have teamed-up to form LGBT Associates of Western Massachusetts. Through LGBT Associates, they bring their over 20 years of experience in LGBT activism, teaching, writing, training, health service and consulting work to the Pioneer Valley. LGBT Associates offers a variety of groups to meet the needs of the community: psychological, educational, social, and physical (for example, resources for name change, surgery, and electrolysis). GROUPS FORMING NOW Relationship enhancement activities for: Mixed-Gender Couples (transgender/non-transgender) Transgender People (various groups) Bisexual Women, Men, and Couples HOW TO PARTICIPATE New groups will begin on or about September 15th, 2008. Two-hour session: $20; pay as you come CUSTOMIZED GROUPS LGBT Associates offers individually designed relationship enhancement activities, creating a group experience for individuals who share an interest. Invite your friends, family members, co-workers, fellow students, or colleagues to explore the LGBT topic of your choice. Two-hour session: $35 per individual TRAINING ACTIVITIES LGBT Associates offers workshops and awareness enhancement activities for Health Service Providers, educators, business people and community organizations. All activities are co-led by a Licensed Psychologist and Health Service Provider.
