Through organizational resolve, skilled and dedicated staff, and dynamic leadership, BFAIR provides quality services, advocacy and education for people with disabilities which affirm the rights of full inclusion, diversity, and well-being. BFAIR offers a variety of respite options, skill-development classes and support groups to families of teens and adults with special needs.
Services:
- Arcadia employment services - a specialized employment, training and placement agency supporting people with work related goals to obtain job opportunities throughout Berkshire County
- Clinical services - provides individual assessment and consultative case reviews
- Child and adolescent services - in-home, intensive, clinical supports for children with Autism, Developmental Disabilities, Emotional and/or Behavioral support needs as well as training and support for family members
- Community residential services - offers supportive flexible, individualized living assistance for individuals ranging in age from young adult to elderly
- Day Habilitation Center - provides adults with individualized services utilizing a medical model including clinical, physical, occupational and speech therapies as well as on-site nursing care
- Individual and family support - planned and emergency respite for families, 24 hours emergency outreach, evening and weekend social clubs
