Program/Service Notes:
MotherWoman, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and empowering mothers to create positive personal and social change for themselves, their families, their communities and the world. It creates treasured, mother-centered, safe spaces of mutual respect and acceptance where each mother can speak honestly about the truth of her mothering experience- the light and the dark. The individual and collective wisdom this creates has a long-lasting positive impact on future generations. It meets otherwise unmet needs in our community, offering unique and powerful programs that challenge the dominant attitudes and systems that devalue and oppress mothers and families emotionally, socially, and economically, creating barriers to success and empowerment.
