Eligibility: Parents and their young children up to the age of five (and their siblings) in the surrounding Hilltown area

Intake Process: Weekly playgroups are Mon. 1:00-3:00pm, and Wed. and Fri. 9:30-11:30am, October through June. Summer playgroups at area parks and private homes are arranged during the summer months.

Program/Service Notes:
-The Cummington Family Center (CFC) is a grassroots, parent run organization, which provides a safe and nurturing environment for parents and their young children. Through weekly playgroups, field trips, workshops, social potlucks and celebrations, the CFC networks families in the surrounding Hilltown area, creating a vital and energized community. -The CFC offers free weekly drop-in playgroups at the Community House in downtown Cummington, MA. Children up to the age of five (and their siblings) can participate in art activities, stories, songs and play together, while offering caregivers opportunities to meet and socialize with local families. An extensive lending library is available for caregivers and children. The CFC is located at the Community House on Main Street in Cummington, MA. Handicap accessible. Services are free - donations are accepted.
