Program/Service Notes:
The organization of Women For Sobriety helps all women with a drinking problem find a way to sobriety and to a fulfilling way of life. WFS is an organization with a program specifically designed to fit the emotional needs of women. WFS understands that dependence upon alcohol has become a leading health problem among women, much of the reason being related to the loss of identity many women feel in the world today. WFS' "New Life" groups are used by many women along with an AA program. These self-help groups help women to find themselves through learning new truths about themselves. Women must be sober 24 hours before attending meeting.
