Baby Welcome Childbirth Preparation Classes Specializing in prenatal and childbirth education, including breastfeeding and early parenthood. Classes emphasize preparation for natural childbirth, informed decision making, and joyful parenting. Families planning home or hospital births are welcome. Classes are small, and scheduled to meet your needs. Refresher classes available. Vicki Elson, MA, CCE, has been teaching independent childbirth classes for 19 years. She has been training childbirth educators nationwide since 1992 and she often lectures on childbirth anthropology. $95/class. Class totals 14 hours. Refresher class 3 hours. Approximately 2 weeks between call to make appointment and the appointment. Sliding fee is available. Accepts payment installments. Accessible by public transportation. Accessible to disabled clients/wheelchair. Referrals provided in areas of midwifery, labor support, exercise classes, bodywork, etc. for pregnancy. Particularly able to respond to the needs of adolescents, bisexuals, lesbians, survivors of sexual abuse, and young mothers.
