Dial/Self Provides a broad range of services that foster youth empowerment by meeting basic needs, by creating opportunities for youth, and by advocating for youth interests in the community we serve. We believe that all youth possess unique strengths, which are enhanced by community support and collaboration, and that all youth should have the right to exercise choice in their own lives.
Programs:
Teenline- program provides youth with the information and support they need to access community resources. Teenline offers youth 11-25 short term case coordination and acts as a liaison between service providers and youth. Teen line does street outreach and operates several drop-in sites throughout Franklin County and the north Quabbin.
Night Owl Warming Center is a safe, warm and supervised space that meets the needs of homeless teenagers who are not eligible to stay in adult shelters.
The Step Program provides homeless teens with shelter and support while the work toward educational, employment, and other life goals. Each participant, in conjunction with a youth worker, establishes a plan for transitioning into a stable, long-term living situation.
YouthServe AmeriCorps members spend 10 months working with at-risk youth in Franklin/Hampshire county and the North Quabbin. Together they serve over 20,000 hrs of service to local youth.
RISE is a community partnership to help students successfully learn, stay in school, and better prepare for life. The RISE program is located at the following middle schools Greenfield , Turners Falls and Athol-Royalston.
ACT is the Community Service Center for Hampshire, Franklin and North Quabbin areas. Connecting volunteers to opportunities and enhancing volunteerism in the community.
