Program/Service Notes:
Founded in 1974 by Billie Jean King, the Women's Sports Foundation is a charitable educational organization dedicated to increasing the participation of girls and women in sports and fitness and creating an educated public that supports gender equity in sport. The Foundation's Participation, Education, Advocacy, Research and Leadership programs are made possible by individual and corporate contributions. The Information Referral Service helps educate the public by providing facts, statistics and background data on sports-related issues for women and girls. We offer educational and reference materials and can tailor a packet of information to meet your individual needs. The Women's Sports Foundation Speaker Service provides champion female athletes, academicians, businesswomen, and legal and health experts who give issue-oriented programs, clinics, speeches and workshops for women and men. Topics include health, fitness, nutrition, marketing, motivation, sports politics, sports business and more. All of our speakers are experienced and talented with great stories to tell, inspiring messages from true competitors and champion.
