Our philosophy is that birth is a sacred event and an instinctive process. We believe that midwives and Doulas are a guiding force in this process helping to empower women to make quality, informed decisions. It is important for students to realize that allowing a women to find her own process of discovery leads to a sense of accomplishment, empowerment and fulfillment.
We offer:
-several distant learning certificate and diploma programs. All our programs are structured for parents and working students and offer a variety of learning experiences through lecture, discussion, presentations, case studies and practicals.
-part-time and accelerated studies. We accept a limited number of students into the Traditional Midwifery program on a part-time basis. Midwifery students with an apprenticeship in place can complete the program and graduate in 3 years.
