BenePLAN is a program established by the Social Security Administration to assist people living on disability with the transition back to work. A BenePLAN Benefits Specialist is trained and certified by the Social Security Administration to offer assistance with:
-Understanding how working will affect benefits such as Social Security, Medicaid, and Medicare, Transitional Assistance, Public Housing, Workers' Compensation and more;
-Developing PASS (Plan for Achieving Self Support) programs, which can help you meet expenses to achieve your employment goal;
-Ongoing assistance to help you manage your benefits as you transition into employment;
-Information and referral on education, training, and rehabilitation services, including Employment Networks.
