DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: The Pioneer Valley Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offers free, confidential and personal assistance to employees and their families in resolving problems that affect their personal lives and job performance. EAP offers: -free, short-term counseling (1-4 sessions) -referrals to community resources -mediation to resolve interpersonal conflicts-educational workshops -You can call the EAP for problems concerning: stress, lingering fatigue, elder care, financial pressure, on-the-job-pressures, substance abuse, depression, single parenting, alcoholic spouse, family relation, anxiety, divorce, parent-child conflict, sexual issues, life transitions, unresolved grief, disability adjustment, loneliness, problems of adolescense, spouse or child abuse, interpersonal conflict, health concerns.
