Program/Service Notes:
A confidential mail forwarding system for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault or stalking.
How it works....
-A victim of domestic violence, sexual assault or stalking relocates to address unknown to perpetrator and not contained in any public records.
-Victim completes ACP application with an Application Assistance certified by the Secretary of the Commonwealth. In order to become a program participant, the applicant must demonstrate that disclosure of the applicant's address threatens the safety of the applicant.
-Once the applicant is accepted into ACP, the Secretary will assign a substitute address to the program participant to be used as the participant's legal address.
