Renewal House offers emergency shelter, advocacy, friendship, and hope to women and children whose lives have been shattered by physical and sexual violence and who have experienced poverty and discrimination. Our goal is to help women gain strength and self-confidence while working to change the system that fosters violence, poverty, racism, sexism, and homophobia.
Renewal House conducts outreach on domestic violence and homelessness issues through public education and workshops in schools, churches, and community groups. We work with other community agencies and churches to enhance services and community education throughout Roxbury.
