About Our Program

The Everywoman's Center Educator/Advocate Program serves as the violence prevention and community education component of the Rape Crisis Center of Hampshire County. Our free services are available to the entire Hampshire County community.

Educator/Advocates facilitate workshops and trainings on a broad range of topics: rape awareness, sexual harassment, violence against women in the pornography industry, gender roles, teen dating violence and partner abuse, building healthy relationships and more.

Workshops are facilitated in community, professional, and educational settings. We are able to provide youth-focused workshops in middle and high schools, professional and paraprofessional trainings for community organizations, and university focused trainings for faculty, staff and/or students.

Educator/Advocates complete an extensive 70-hour training sponsored by the Department of Public Health. Allies of all gender identities are welcome to apply for our volunteer positions, and our goal is to continue building a staff that is fully representative of the community we serve.
