The Brothers of Pi Kappa Phi are pedaling stationary bikes in the Campus Center for five days to raise funds and awareness on behalf of people with disabilities.
As the only fraternity to own and operate its own nonprofit charity, this is one of our biggest fundraising and awareness events of the year!
So why do we pedal bikes? It's in the spirit of two national Push America events that are held every summer: Gear Up Florida, an 800-mile bike ride throughout the state of Florida, and Journey of Hope,
Along the way, Pi Kapp cyclists and crew stop at organizations serving people with disabilities and share themselves with some pretty awesome people. Each organization also receives a grant from that is funded by the fundraising efforts of individual team members.
Pedal for Push is our way to bring the mission and values of Push America to the UMass community!
