Internationally recognized architect Patrick Tighe ’89 will trace the development of his award-winning firm over the past ten years, detailing the role of innovation and inquiry in every project.
Hear how Tighe combines new technologies, fabrication methods, construction techniques and building materials to yield relevant, forward-thinking architecture. His diverse work ranges from hand-crafted masonry structures to robotically carved interiors, affordable housing projects in Los Angeles and ultra-luxurious villas in Morocco, to name only a few.
The Alumni Association is proud to bring Patrick Tighe '89 back to campus through the Eleanor Bateman Alumni Scholar in Residence program; connecting students with alumni who exemplify achievement of the university's mission through professional accomplishments and/or public service.
All are welcome to attend this free event with a reception and refreshments following the presentation. Questions? Email Melanie Cosgrove or call the Alumni Association at 800-456-UMASS. Let us know you are coming below.
