Durfee Conservatory Open House

The Durfee Conservatory is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year and is opening for alumni and friends during Homecoming.
Take a self-guided tour of the recently upgraded Conservatory; the greenhouse complex offers a beautiful and peaceful environment and is home to a variety of plant species.
To get to the Durfee from I-91: Take Route 9 exit in Northhampton. Head East on Route 9 to Amherst. Turn left on Pleasant Street and drive through town. Turn left at Triangle Street (3rd Traffic light). This street will then turn into North Pleasant Street. At the second light turn right, then immediately turn right again at the first street you come to, and follow signs to the hospital. Look for parking on the street before the hospital or in the lot to your left by the Franklin Dining Commons. The Durfee Conservatory is NOT the green house immediately next to the parking lot, but can be found by walking past this green house. Look for the wooden sign, and the neon pink pillars.To get to the Durfee from I-90 (The Mass Pike): Take the Palmer exit off of the Pike, and follow the signs to Amherst and UMass. You will follow 181 to 202 North to Route 9 West. When you reach Amherst, turn right onto Pleasant Street and follow the instructions as above from the fourth line.Parking for vistors to Durfee: There are 4 parking spaces in the Durfee/University Health Services parking lot for Durfee visitors.
