Dinner on Us: 'Developmental Benefits of Yoga for You and Your Child'

Topic: "Developmental Benefits of Yoga for You and Your Child" with Alisa Wright Tanny, founder and director of The Embodiment Sanctuary, an integrative dance movement therapist, embodiment coach and infant developmental movement educator.
*Dress casually and comfortably and bring a towel as a prop. Both adults and children will be exploring everyday yoga movement.*
Schedule: 5:30 pm dinner in Commonwealth Room in the Student Union, 6:15-7:30 pm, roundtable discussion in Commonwealth Room/Off Campus Student Center Rm 304, supervised children's activities in the Cape Cod Lounge from 5:45-7:30 pm
Dinner On Us (DOU) is a parent education workshop series offered most Monday evenings during the academic year. Undergraduate students may arrange for independent study credits through contracts with academic departments.
DOU workshops are held in the Student Union and include a free family dinner, supervised children's activities, and free parking. It is a unique opportunity for parents and grandparents to participate in educational workshops and round table discussions.
